I took this panoramic photo of The Palace Of Fine Arts @ San Francisco… I’m a real sucker for Venetian architecture and this scenery was too good to pass up. Hopefully I’ll have more opportunities to photograph more panoramic scenes while we’re visiting The Golden State…

Hehe well the stats from that weather side bar is meant to be taken from the Perth Airport… so hmmm if you have any relatives arriving early at the airport you can blame them for their clock being out by an hour… who knows it may all be inaccurate and the stats could be generated by some monkey in a room pushing random buttons! 😛

VERY impressive picture. i love it. i remember being there and madly snapping away at the bits and pieces of the palace of fine arts and was getting frustrated at how little i could fit in, especially when you get up close to the dome. Also we only had like 15 minutes to walk around and take photos so we just had to not take photos for a second and just look at how amazing it was.. and in the middle of san fran!! crazy! hey hey whats the story with the ladies on top of the pillars with their butts facing us? i’ve heard like two different stories.

v1. they’re weeping because the world has lost it’s appreciation of art
v2. this one is vague.. the architect did it to spite the organisors.. of an exhibition..? something about notifying him of last minute changes on the day the construction was to start. he was pissed off and made the ladies moon san fran.. haha that one sounds kind stupid but how funny if it was true.
