:: St. Patrick’s Day In Whistler

A couple of weeks ago I had a pleasant email from my old boss Murray from STA Travel that he was coming over to Canada for a few days as he went on an agent famil trip. Unfortunately the group didn’t make a stop in Vancouver so Saj and I decided to meet up with him in Whistler. I was feeling a little home sick at that time so I was excited when I found out that he was coming over and never thought that it would be happening so soon.

We met up with him on Saturday night… and what’s new, it always involves pub and drinking. It was perfect actually because it was on St. Patty’s day and there was a nice crowd everywhere. We partied from the Hilton to Tommy Africa’s and finally got home around 3:30am!

It was so good seeing you again Muz, you are so funny and I do miss working with you! J

Cheers to the good times for now…

:: Sun, Sun, Glorious Sun!

When we decided to move over to Vancouver everyone in Australia were asking “Why..? Why would you possibly want to go to a cold climate?”…

So here we are in Vancouver… I was driving to work and listening to one of the local radio station. The announcer said “This is a record month for rain in March and we’ve had a total of 43 hours of sunlight/blueskies in the last 3 weeks…” That’s less than two days in three weeks!!! It has been raining for as long as I can remember and the slightest ray of sunlight is welcomed with open arms!

Speaking of rays of light… These two little bundles of joy always manage to put a smile on my face no matter how bad the weather is outside.

Just yesterday we had a beautiful day, so after work we all went down to the park to enjoy the day…

Uncle Saj got to push Arian on the swing…

While Cyrus played on the slide… hmmm I think he scared away all the little kids…

After a hard day of play… some of us couldn’t endure it…

We all savoured the moment of warmth blue skies and sunshine… tomorrow’s forcast…

 *sigh* … rain…
